New Video Series: Saga Consulting Client Conversations
/Although most of my work is bound by confidentiality agreements, I’ve started to work with more and more clients in a public capacity. I admire the work that my clients do, and I’m proud to be associated with them.
That’s why I’m pleased to announce Saga Consulting Client Conversations, a series of videos that give the clients I work with a chance to share their expertise with the world. These videos are not advertisements. Instead, our goal is to provide useful information that can help you achieve professional success.
For our first video in this series, I’m proud to introduce Miki Uchida, founder and CEO of Uprithm K.K. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Miki for several years—long before she founded Uprithm—on communications coaching and training projects.
Miki has an eclectic résumé, having worked for a major Japanese brand as well as a prominent startup accelerator before founding Uprithm, a startup dedicated to connecting Japanese companies with South-Asian IT professionals.
In our conversation, we cover the following topics:
The current state of Japan’s startup scene
Actionable advice for those who aspire to launch a business in Japan
How to get hired at a Japanese startup
The challenges facing Japan’s startup ecosystem and how to overcome them
Hear what Miki has to say about these topics and more by watching the video below:
